Effective date: March 19, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BackupsDrive Secure Storage ("Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service provides secure backup and recovery functionality. Features and limits may vary by plan and may change over time.
The Service provides enterprise-grade, end-to-end encrypted backup, continuous block-level synchronization, and disaster recovery functionality. Features and bandwidth limits may vary by strict SLA agreements, and system status may reflect ongoing, continuous data routing and synchronization operations.
Encrypted Data Blobs: All client data is encrypted client-side prior to transit using AES-256/ChaCha20. We operate on a strict Zero-Knowledge architecture: we do not possess the decryption keys, cannot inspect the contents of your backups, and only route the encrypted blobs.
To use the Service, you may need an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. You must promptly notify us of any suspected unauthorized use.
You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, accounts, or data.
To maintain persistent tunnel connections and monitor deep network telemetry for SLA compliance.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. Prohibited conduct includes:
You retain ownership of your data. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to store and process your content with the Service.
Backups are subject to technical limitations and do not guarantee absolute recoverability. You should validate restore procedures periodically.
If you purchase a subscription, you agree to pay all fees associated with your plan. Fees are non-refundable unless required by law. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment.
The Service may integrate with third-party services or rely on third-party infrastructure. We are not responsible for third-party terms, availability, or performance.
The Service and its software, including all associated intellectual property, remain the property of BackupsDrive or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks or service marks.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BackupsDrive shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use creates security, legal, or operational risks.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the changes.
